This piece takes a bit more practice, but it’s really worth it for the wow factor! It has a lovely glissando leading up to the climax of the piece… a moment of drama! The left hand has lovely broken chords which give it that steady accompaniment that we’re used to hearing from Elvis’ recordings.

I have a 28 strings lap harp (from F2 below C, to E3 above). Please may I ask how to adjust the last section P in the ending?

Took some work but worth it!

This piece was a stretch for me and has taken two months to learn. I still have a lot of work to go in order to smooth it out. But it is so beautiful. I think part of the difficulty for me has been that the intervals are not the predictable ones that have been in past courses. I feel like I’ve taken a step forward in my progress with this piece.

    Worth every moment of practice!

Oh, this arrangement is beyond beautiful! It took me daily practice for 2 weeks to learn and it pushes my skills further than I ever imagined, but it’s so worth it. Christy-Lynn has outdone herself with this one. Getting it up to full speed may take a good long while, but it’s so satisfying working towards that goal. Simply lovely!

Can't help falling in love, late intermediate harp.

I think this one is a beautiful arrangement by Chrysty-Lyn Marais, and I have really enjoyed going through the music learning every detail in chunks named by letters. She teaches so clearly that I would advise everyone to pause the video where she suggests, to practice those niggly difficult bits before moving on. The play-through is a very good one to keep going back to, and also difficult parts to keep reviewing. Wonderful again. I find the suggestions of where to go with choosing pieces next, really very useful.

Wonderfully fun arrangement and as always exceptionally taught
    Thank you Christy Lyn !
I found it helpful to listen to the song in sing arrangements so that I could feel the melody within the lovely chordal arrangement
I find myself singing along quietly as I practice to keep it flowing
I do this often with songs that I’m learning

This is a lovely song to play. I later tried playing the big harp version, but I find I prefer this version.

This was the first piece I played out of my home at the wedding of a dear friend. It’s a beautiful piece
